Kate by Tate James
Kate is the fourth and final book in the Madison Kate series, barring the novella Vault, which Tate James recommends reading after the Hades series, see below screen grab.
Kate sees everything from the past 3 books concluded, we find out who ordered the hit on MK which sees MK and the boys injured but alive thank goodness. We also find out who MK’s stalker is that was a twist for the books and most importantly we get the happy ending we all need.

So…Zane is a twat right! After multiple assassins have failed to take out MK, Zane takes the contract to kill her and almost succeeds, too. Thank goodness for Steele. The man who put the hit on MK turned out to be the CEO of the multi-billion-dollar company MK owns, even though she didn’t know she owned it. Well, she knows now, and I just know she’s gonna be an incredible boss. So Zane meets his end at well the end of Archer’s gun, and it serves him right. Massive love for Cass though! Not only did he always look out for MK, but he even gave them a heads up that Zane was up to something.

MK’s stalker…dude, I NEVER in a million years would have figured that out! Dave….who was actually Declan, the “dead” twin brother of MK’s mum. The dude stalked his own twin and raped his own twin…impregnated his twin and then became obsessed with her daughter thats all sorts of fucked up. Man needed a therapist big time.
Such obedience, so unlike your mother. She made things so difficult for herself toward the end there.
Also massive bone to pick with Tate James, well, two actually. First one being that she made us wait until the last chapter (not including the epilogue and bonus chapter) to get a spicy scene with all 4 of them. Then we only got one scene of the four of them! I wanted more lol. The second bone is that MK meets Hades, and she knows who Hades is, but guess what? We fucking don’t! How evil 😦 I was going to read the Hades series anyway, but I definitely need to now! Is it Cass? Nah, can’t be, can it?
My jaw dropped; then I burst out laughing. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Dallas and Bree get their happy ever after, too. Dallas gets out of the Wraiths, and they have a very healthy baby.
I almost forgot! MK’s dad isn’t actually her dad! She finds her biological father, and he’s already proved himself to be a good guy.
I loved this series, I’m a little sad it’s over, and I can feel a book handover/slump starting already lol. I’m so glad I read this series, though. I fell in love with the main characters, MK, Archer, Steele and Kody, but also the side characters too. Steinwick is just badass, Anna is adorable! I love Cass too, he’s just a cute grumpy fucker.
I’m excited to read the Hades series and think I will have to treat myself to the book set on payday, just don’t tell my husband 😉
