A Spicy Snowman Tale: My Thoughts on “Frisky the Snowman” by Lauren Biel

Frisky the Snowman is as weird a read as it sounds. It follows Holly, who loves the snow and builds herself a snowman she names Frisky, with whom she gets frisky. Imagine her surprise when Frisky comes to life.

I don’t even know where to start with this one lol. I’ve read quite a few of Lauren Biel’s books and I am also a member of her street team, with it being winter it seemed the appropiate time to read this book.

It’s only 52 pages, and very, very spicy. Holly is obsessed with snow; it turns her on, and she makes a snowman with a carrot appendage so she can do the horizontal tango with the snowman. That is the most polite way I can say what this book is about, haha. When it is not snowing, she uses vegetables cold out of the fridge to pleasure herself. I have to say I don’t want a Sunday roast at Holly’s house; the carrots might taste a bit funky. Obviously, it is a short read, so it is very fast-paced, and there isn’t really any plot other than the snowman becoming real. Also, I have to mention…Frisky has peppermint-flavoured “release”

It’s like a weird, horny remake of the film Jack Frost 😂

That being said, it made me laugh…made me cringe, and all in all, I haven’t read anything like it…well, actually I did read Mating with Mallows last year, which was peeps that turned into men, that was also weird. I feel like you have to read these types of short books for the fun and to have a laugh.

I gave it 3 stars for the fact, it made me laugh, it was weird, and I actually thought Frisky was kinda sweet, bless him.
