Kiss & Kill by Nova Kane
18+ Contains Adult Content
Kiss & Kill is a Valentine’s dark rave romance that features killer twins Kross & Kade and a deliciously messed-up girl, Aeri, who they can’t decide if they want to kiss or kill.
Aeri is going to Cupid’s Killhouse race to forget her cheating ex, Mark. She wants a night of fun with her friends and to let loose. When she stumbles into Kade & Kross, twins, predators, and serial killers, Aeri isn’t scared; she laughs and runs into the crowd waiting to be caught.
Roses are red,
Blood is too.
Run all you want—
The twins will catch you.

Love isn’t patient.
Love isn’t kind.
Love stalks.
Love hunts.
Love fucking claims.
This book! Ahh, okay, so I have never been to a rave, and I would, in all honesty, probably hate it. I can’t do with really loud noises or crowds of people or people touching me, so yeah, I would hate it. I love experiencing it through my books, though. The only other rave romance book I read was Overdose by Nova Kane, and I loved that too. I noticed there was a little easter egg to Overdose in this book, which I liked. The closest to a rave I’ve ever come to was going to a Clubland concert in Manchester Arena when I was 16, haha. Anyway, I loved the setting of this book, being in a warehouse, the rave setting, it was all very immersive in my mind, too. So like, I feel like I can say I’ve been to a rave now 😉 okay maybe not, but still.
“Let the heartbroken girlies rave half-naked in peace.”
This book is character-driven, with the focus on Kade & Kross, the serial-killer twins & Aeri. Okay, so you are probably not meant to love serial killer twins, and we have been through this before in real life. I would never, but in my fictional world, I loved them! Don’t judge me…if you don’t love serial killer twins, you are on the wrong book blog…we love the dark and depraved over here! Kade is the more serious twin, the calm, detached one, whereas Kross is more playful; he is crazy in that he finds it fun, it’s a game to him. Aeri is just as fucked up in that she isn’t scared by them; she knows they are killers, but she does not care, she laughs at them and wants them to play with her. I actually loved Aeri. I get why the twins liked her. There is something about her that draws you in and makes you love her.
“Bro, she laughed at us. Like, actually fucking laughed.”
“Shit, at this point, I can’t tell if I wanna Kill her or Kiss her when I catch her.”
It should come as no surprise by now that I love Nova’s writing style; that’s why I was so pumped to get on her team. She has yet to write a book I haven’t liked, and to be honest, I don’t think she will, lol. Like I said before, I felt like I was there, but thankfully, I didn’t have the uncomfortable feeling of sweaty bodies actually touching me. This is why I love reading: I can escape reality, and I can experience things that I know I would hate in real life.
“Let me hear you, little Valentine,” he adds. “Show me what you sound like when this cupid hits his fucking mark.”
Overall thoughts
I loved it, I can’t wait for book 2, I know it’s going to be amazing. I can’t wait for what else these guys are going to get up to. The book has been released today, so go read it & enjoy that depraved rave inside your head 😀
Thank you, Nova, for the ARC.
