February 2026 Reading Wrap-Up

I had a better reading month this month than I did last month. I did, however, have 1 DNF this month, but life is too short to read books you don’t vibe with. I did aim to read more this month than I did, but oh well lol.

Here is what I read, what I rated them and if I recommend them. All books except my DNF have full reviews up on here if you want to read them.

I started February with an ARC read of Laurel by Addison James. This is a vampire sapphic romance. I really enjoyed this and gave it 4 stars. I recommend.

I then moved on to my ARC of FMD by Kinsley Kincaid. I have been wanting this book since I read Ghost Dick in 2024, and I was not disappointed. This was amazing, and I highly recommend this! I gave this 5 stars.

My next read was also an ARC; this was Kiss & Kill by Nova Kane, a dark rave romance. This was so much fun to read, and I highly recommend it. 5 stars.

I then had my first read & ARC from J.N. Bamforth, which was Eat Your Heart Out, and I need to read the rest of this woman’s work! This was gross yet had me in stitches! I loved it, it is so fucked up. I recommend it 100% if you like dark, unhinged, hilarious books. 4 stars.

I then read my only paperback of the month (this getting through my physical tbr shit is not working lol), Bourbon & Lies by Victoria Wilder. This is a small-town romance, with a bit of suspense. I loved this, I full on devoured this book & bought the next two. 5 stars.

My next read was an ARC of The Frost that Burns by Carliann Jean, another author who is new to me. This was a vampire x demon fated mates romance set in the underworld. I really enjoyed this, and it has me wanting to read more demon and vampire romances. 4 stars.

I had another ARC read, and I know that most of my reads were ARC reads this month. Fractured by A.L. Maruga, which is an erotic horror, there is no HEA or HFN in this book. I liked the ending, though and thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I have a new auto-buy author. 4 stars

Lastly, I read Mr. Sin by S.J. Tilly. I’ve been meaning to read an S.J. Tilly book for ages, I’m happy I finally have, and I really liked this one. Vincent made me swoon, and I kept thinking about him long after I finished the book. 4 stars.

I then had a group read with my TikTok agency, but unfortunately, the book and I just did not vibe, and I DNF’d it. The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith.

Have you read any of these, and if so, what are your thoughts?
