Once a month, if possible me and my 2 aunties try to go on a little road trip to visit bookshops around the UK. We go off what we see online that looks good, so far we haven’t traveled too far. We’ve been to 66 books, The Old Pier Bookshop and The OakTree Bookshop. This month, we headed off to Morecambe again. We have visited this bookshop before and decided to go back again.
We visited, The Old Pier Bookshop, which is a second hand family run bookshop facing the ocean.

June Book Summary: Health Struggles & Reading Highlights
I can’t believe another month has come to an end. The 6th month too! How has half a year gone by already? Crazy.
This is what I have read in June. I haven’t managed to do individual reviews on here for many of them, but they are all on my TikTok. I have not had the best month health-wise. I have been very drained, dealing with insomnia as well as mini strokes. I will try to get to them, though 🙃

Sinners Retreat Review: A Hilarious Serial Killer Romance
Sinners Retreat by Lauren Biel
I have read a few of Lauren Biel’s books; the first one I ever read was Captured, which is very dark! I still can’t look at mayo the same. Today, I have finished the first book in Lauren’s Slaycation series, Sinners Retreat.
Is it dark?
Well, they are serial killers; they are at a resort for a serial killer annual event where they get to play bowling using people’s heads, but other than that aspect, no, it’s not dark. It had me laughing out loud many times. It is a dark rom-com, and spoiler alert, I loved it!
Interview with Kinsley Kincaid: Insights from the Queen of Taboo Romance
So I recently slid into the DMs of one of my favourite authors asking if we could do a sort of interview, totally casual I would send her the questions and she could respond when she had time and a couple of days later I had her email with her answers and I am smiling like a loon.
So, who is the author? If you follow my social media, you will know my favourite author is Kinsley Kincaid, the Queen of taboo romance!

Sweet Sin Slaughterhouse by Kinsley Kincaid
Sweet Sin Slaughterhouse is the newest release by Kinsley Kincaid, and when I say newest, I mean BRAND NEW out today. This is NOT a dark romance; it is an erotic horror and is part of the Devils Society series. It is a standalone in the series, but I recommend you read them in the following order:
