Explore the World of Fantasy with Mariah Montoya in this exclusive Interview

I’m not sure if you’re all aware, but this year I discovered one of my all-time favourite fantasy series, thanks to my wonderful friend Roni, who recommended it to me. This was not only a new series but a new author to me. One who has now become an auto-buy author! So I decided to pull up my big girl pants and slide my behind into her DMs to ask if she would be down for an interview. I was so nervous, but when she replied saying yes…guys, I felt so giddy!! I mean, the title has given away who it is already, but I’m so super happy to have the wonderful Mariah Montoya on my blog 🙂 By the Orchid and the Owl may be one of my all-time favourite fantasy worlds!

Armed with a new hair colour and a lot of contour to change her appearance, the best she can, Cassie gets a job as a bartender at the club where Brian died. She wants answers, but what she didn’t expect was to find a secret society of magic and darkness. Cassie also did not expect to be so drawn to her boss, Dex. She is bound to him by a contract to protect her, but did he bother to protect her brother? Asteria is sent to the Dusk Kingdom and is to be the personal slave for Crown Prince Cyrus, who wants Asteria to give in to his lust and desire for her. She refuses and knows it is a matter of time before he takes it by force, and the only option is to escape. Whilst scrolling threads, I came across an a post from Emilie looking for ARC readers for her book Enchanted. This is a second edition of the book and as soon as I saw Ghost Whisperer vibes in the tropes I signed up! The second edition will be available September 14th.

Enchanted is a romantasy that follows Juliette, the Princess of Reunion Island. Juliette is a witch and her parents are forcing her to choose a mate. Three Princes come to the Chateau vying for her hand. Prince Elmas, a Vampire from Lithuania, Prince Kai, a werewolf and Prince FĂ©idhlim of Éire. Juliette and FĂ©idhlim are drawn to each other but there are secrets and hidden truths casting shadows over them both. With Elmas trying desperately to get Juliette’s attention, even going as far as to blackmail FĂ©idhlim. Who will she end up choosing?
