Mr. Sin by S.J. Tilly
18+ Contains Adult Content
Mr Sin follows Sasha & Vincent, who meet in Vegas and have a one-night stand. Imagine Sasha’s surprise when she learns that Vincent is her new client, the guy everyone has known as Mr Sin. Vincent is just as shocked as Sasha, but since Sasha left before giving him one last tussle in the sheets, he naturally pulls her into his office to rectify that. Sasha can’t let her boss at the PR company she works at know that she has been/is involved with Vincent, but the more that gets unravelled about Vincent, his past & his feelings for Sasha, the less she can stay away. So when a crazy man from the past looks to hurt Vincent, Sasha becomes the target. Can Vincent save her, or will he be too late?
The head is still very sore, so again I have no idea what I have written below…hopefully it makes sense haha.
His lips are full, tipped into a small frown and sinfully sexy. As if beckoned, my gaze snaps up and I find myself looking into the eyes of the Devil.

•Single Dad •Slight age gap •Work place romance •Strong FMC •One Night Stand •CEO x PR Consultant •Billionaire hero •Possessive & Overprotective MMC

It’s Sasha. My Sasha. My little Vegas runaway. Here. I rise from my chair. My cousin Angelo tilts his head at me, an unspoken question. I shake mine, signaling him to stay put, then walk to the door. Some of the people in the meeting are watching me, but I don’t care. That girl owes me a fuck.
This book was recommended to me by C.J. Riggs as part of my 12 Months…12 Authors…12 Books challenge. I have been meaning to read a book by S.J. Tilly for so long and was super happy when Rigg’s chose this book.
I really enjoyed reading this; it was easy to read and flowed well. It was very smutty, and the MMC Vincent had a sinful way with words. The book is character-driven, focusing on Vincent & Sasha, and it revolves mostly around their relationship and keeping it a secret. There is, however, more to the story when we learn of Randal, especially when someone breaks into Sasha’s apartment. Which then gives us the suspense vibes in the book.
“That’s right, sweetheart. I want to hear my name on your soft lips. Calling out for
Sasha and Vincent kind of had an insta-love/lust thing going on. They have one night in Vegas where they devour each other, and straight away, Vincent is obsessed with Sasha. Neither one knows that they will be working together in a month, so it is a surprise to them both, and Vincent knows he should stay away from Sasha because he knows he will get possessive, but he can’t. The idea of Sasha with anyone else sends him into a rage.
“The fuck you will!” He booms. “You don’t get to choose anybody. I don’t share. And fight it all you want, but this thing between us isn’t over. I’ll stay out of your way while you do your job. But if you think you can go out and fuck other guys, you’re wrong. End of discussion. And if there’s some walking-dead-man out there that needs to get that message, I’ll tell him myself.”
I liked Sasha, she was in love with Vincent & didn’t know why he kept chasing after her, in her eyes she was nothing special, but even still, when he was being an arse, she stood her ground and told him so. She was feisty and strong.
“You’re right. I don’t know what the hell we are. I don’t know what to call this. But you? You’re mine. You hear that, sweetheart? You’re fucking mine. And I protect what’s mine. So, find a way to deal with it.”
Going into this, I didn’t know that it was a single-dad trope; it’s not a trope I actively look for, but I don’t mind it. This one was done really well; it brought humanity to Vincent’s character, and there was no denying how much he loved his daughter. Them turning up at Sasha’s apartment after Vincent has fucked her off because Annie has gotten her period & Vincent doesn’t know what to do had me laughing. I liked how close Annie and Sasha became; they really did become a cute little family.
I quite enjoyed the writing style and will be reading more from S.J. Tilly.
“Sweetheart.” Vincent whispers, kneeling in front of me. “You’re the only girlfriend I’ve ever had. And you’ll be the only wife I ever have.” He opens his palm to reveal a sparkling ring. “Sasha Clark, will you be my Mrs. Sin?”
Overall thoughts
I really enjoyed this; it was a quick, easy, smutty read that flowed well. I liked the characters and the suspense aspect in the plot. I liked the single dad trope and the cuteness of them as a family. I would have liked a bit more action regarding the Randal character, but overall I recommend this book, and I look forward to reading more from S.J. Tilly. Thank you, Riggs, for recommending it.
