Timber by Tate James: The Epic Conclusion of the Hades Series

Timber by Tate James

Timber is the 4th and final book in the Hades series, and when I say that I am sad right now that this is over, I’m not even being dramatic. I think I’m grieving.

As with the others, this book follows on exactly where book 3 ends. We think Zed is in the FBI, and Hades has been arrested.

Exploring the Drama and Secrets in Club 22 by Tate James

Club 22 by Tate James

I have just finished this book and headed straight upstairs to my computer to write this review. 1, so I remember everything, and 2, because I feel like there is a lot to unpack in this one.

This book picks up where book 2 ended, Hades has just shot Cass because he has been working with Chase and dealing with PCP. We see Cass’ funeral and the reapers transitioning to the control of Roach.

Unraveling Hades’ Secrets in Anarchy Book 2

Anarchy by Tate James

Anarchy is book 2 in the Hades series and this book starts where book 1 left off. Lucas has been taken and Hades, Cass and Zed are searching for him.

In this one, we get more of Cass and Hades, as well as Lucas and Hades, and we see lots of jealous Zed. We also find out who it is that is terrorising them. Someone who should be dead. We get more of Hades’ backstory in this book, but we also see her walls start to come down as she lets the men into her heart. This book also ends on a cliffhanger.

Tate James’ 7th Circle: Action and Romance in Hades’ World

7th Circle by Tate James

7th Circle is book one of the Hades series by Tate James. It is set in the same universe as the Madison Kate series, and it is recommended that you read this after finishing the Madison Kate series.

7th Circle follows Hades, the infamous businesswoman and leader of the Tri-state Timberwolves. We hear of Hades in the Madison Kate series, and that Hades is not to be messed with. We don’t, however, get the identity of Hades in the MK series. It was one of the biggest things I was questioning when I finished Kate. Who is Hades?

Wanted: A Look into Dark Themes and Complex Characters

Wanted by Lauren Biel

Wanted is a DARK GRAY romance novella with high spice and low plot. This home invasion story will leave you questioning if you should leave your door open at night.
I’m wanted.
On the lam, running from the law and my mistakes. The house tucked into the trees seems safe—an excellent place to hide out.
Once inside, I find something unexpected. A nurse that can do more than heal my wounds. But the longer I’m awake, the more reality starts to blur, and I can’t tell what’s real and what’s not anymore.
Plagued by ill fantasies and temptation, I try to keep her safe from me. It works until the lines between us also begin to blur.
Vanessa, like her home, will never be the same once I get inside.
Wanted is a dark, spicy novella with a plethora of content advisories. It’s part of Lauren Biel’s “after dark” collection, and warnings on LaurenBiel.com should be taken seriously.

Goldflame: The Dark Romance Awaited by Fans

Goldflame by Aveline Knight

There are many things I never thought I’d find myself behind; the barrel of a gun is one of them. I feel the tingle, the rush, as it slithers down my skin. I feel the cold. Too many deaths – one of them will be the death of me. Julian is determined to make me pay for someone else’s sins. And I’m struggling not to succumb to his mercy, not to fall to my knees and beg. But as my legs give in, as my muscles strain and my voice weakens, I keep the handle of my knife tight in my grip. My Mother’s suffering collides with mine as I use my last breath to take away the ones who stole hers. I keep fighting. I keep killing. I keep hoping. Even when ghosts are the only company I have left. Even when he’s the last thing I see.

C.J. Riggs’ Shelly: The Ultimate Mix of Horror and Erotica

Shelly by C.J Riggs

Shelly is a short erotic horror story by C.J Riggs. I think this is the 4th book I’ve read by this author, and I have enjoyed every one that I have read.

This book follows Atlas, who is the MMC, and he could never find the perfect girl; he wanted a connection, but couldn’t connect with any of them the way he wanted. So, what does a normal person do? They make it.

The Steamy Dark Conclusion to the Madison Kate Series; Kate

Kate by Tate James

Kate is the fourth and final book in the Madison Kate series, barring the novella Vault, which Tate James recommends reading after the Hades series, see below screen grab.

Kate sees everything from the past 3 books concluded, we find out who ordered the hit on MK which sees MK and the boys injured but alive thank goodness. We also find out who MK’s stalker is that was a twist for the books and most importantly we get the happy ending we all need.

Madison Kate’s journey gets even darker in the third installment; Fake.

Fake by Tate James

Fake is book 3 in the Madison Kate Series. This book finishes off where we ended in Liar. Madison Kate has just found out that her father sold her to Archer, and she is married to him. Madison Kate left with Zane, and the beginning of Fake MK is back in Shadow Grove after being away in Aspen with Bree. MK has her own apartment in a building with some of the Reapers, including Cass, whom MK starts going to the gym and learning how to punch. In Aspen, they met Scott, whom they became friends, and he transferred to SGU to be with MK, even though she had told him she wasn’t interested. They remain friends, but Scott is acting creepy. Archer, Kody & Steele are trying to win her back, and she, of course, crumbles. More attempts are made on MK’s life, and her stalker is still active. She believes the stalker to be Scott when he barges into her home and she shoots him, killing him, only for her stalker to say whoops, wrong person, and her stalker shoots Steele.
