Madison Kate’s Journey: Love, Revenge, and Bad Boys

Hate by Tate James

The first thing that drew me to this book was the cover. That neon green and pink against the black just spoke to me. I had seen that my friends on TikTok had read the series, and I trusted their views. When I saw the set at a good price, I had to pick them up.

Hate is the first book in the four-book Madison Kate series. It is followed by Liar, Fake, and Kate. I believe these are reverse harem.

My beautiful friend Corina gave me the Consumed Trilogy as her recommendation. Now I technically only needed one book and was just going to read book one, but I ended up reading all three.

Thrilling Short Story Review: A Must-Read from Amazon First Reads

I downloaded this book because it was the bonus read for May’s Amazon First Reads, I didn’t know if I would ever read it but it was free so I downloaded it.

I have previously read the Housemaid Series by Freida McFadden and I enjoyed book 1 and 2, book 3 not as much but I wasn’t blown away by them enough to think about picking another one of her books up, I have some on my shelf but these were purchased before I read the Housemaid Series. Don’t get me wrong she isn’t a bad writer at all, just quite predictable I feel, but like I said I haven’t read any other books by her.

I had just finished a thriller that I didn’t enjoy and thought why not give this a try it’s only 79 pages.

Booktok Group Reads: Our Thriller Experience

I Don’t Like Mondays by Maria Frankland

There’s a bit of a story behind how this book got chosen, so bear with me. Me and a group of friends who all met through booktok, have a WhatsApp group where we talk about books and also lots of other stuff, but it centres around books. Each month, we decide to do a group read. This month, we each picked a genre and put it in a spinny wheel, as we usually chose a Dark Romance read and wanted something different. These were the genres up for grabs: Thriller, Gothic Horror, Rom Com, Romantasy (this was my genre), Cowboy Romance and Erotic Horror.

Thriller was the genre that the wheel chose, and then we each had to put forward a thriller book to go into another wheel. These were the choices:
