No chit chat, I will jump straight into what I read in May.

I started the month with an ARC of Saving Jessie’s Girl by Lauren Biel. This was an emotional read, but an incredible read.
I gave this 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I then read my other ARC of the month, which was The Neighborly Thing To Do by Addison James. I really enjoyed this and never realised I could be attracted to a gargoyle until I read this. I first came across Addison via an ARC and have read a few since then, and she is an author I really enjoy reading.
I gave this 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I then read my TikTok agency book club read, The Chalk Man by C.J. Tudor.
I gave this 3 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

In March, I didn’t get around to reading a book from my 12 Months…12 Authors…12 Books challenge, so I planned on reading two books in April to catch up, but didn’t manage to, so I read two this month. The first was The Never List by Jade Presley, and I was obsessed with this book. It was amazing,
5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I then read One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig, which was on my 12 Months…12 Friends…12 Books challenge. This one didn’t hit like I was hoping.
I gave it 3.5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Then I read All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles, which was also on my 12 Months…12 Authors challenge. So I am now up to date on that challenge, yay. Also, I freaking loved this book, I was hooked!
5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I actually went out and bought the 6-book set of the Sparrow Falls series by Catherine straight after finishing this. I also went on Vinted and bought Across the Vanishing Sky, which is book 1 in the Starlight Grove series, and the seller must have received a paperback ARC of book 2 in this series, and she included it in my package with this note. “Thank you so much for rehoming one of my books. As a thank you, I added in an early copy of the sequel. I hope you love it!!!” When I say I was sitting there speechless, I ain’t even joking. I am so thankful to this seller for one, respecting the terms of getting an ARC and not selling it and two, giving it away free to someone who purchased book number one of the series. I feel blessed.

I then ended the month with Bourbon & Secrets by Victoria Wilder. I am so glad I finally squeezed this book in. I love this series and look forward to reading book 3.
I gave this one 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
